Trine-Lise Henriksen

Oslo-based portrait and studio photographer Trine-Lise Henriksen has spent over 15 years building a body of work that celebrates life's most meaningful moments.
I don't simply photograph what someone looks like. I strive to capture who they are, and the emotions that make them unforgettable.
Nikon has been a trusted companion throughout my entire journey, allowing me to focus completely on the people in front of my lens.
Trine-Lise's approach to photography is rooted in trust, presence, and the belief that every portrait should be deeply felt rather than simply seen. She draws inspiration from people, light, conversations, and the quiet emotions that connect us, approaching each session as an opportunity to tell a story that is entirely unique to her subject.
Her Nikon journey began with a film camera, and that early experience shaped her instinct for intentionality, teaching her to slow down, read the light, and consider every frame with care. As her career grew she continued to build within the Nikon ecosystem, and today she uses the Nikon Z 8 and the Nikon Z 6III alongside NIKKOR lenses including the NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.2 S, the NIKKOR Z 70–200mm f/2.8 S, and the NIKKOR Z 24–40mm f/2.8 S. The NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.2 S and the NIKKOR Z 70–200mm f/2.8 S are constants in her daily work, tools she describes as magnificent for the way they render her subjects with clarity and warmth. For Trine-Lise, Nikon is not simply equipment; it is a creative partner that has supported her growth as both a photographer and an international educator.
