Eyes of Belga

For Eyes of Belga, photography is fundamentally about people. His portrait work aims to highlight individuality, emotion, and context, often using natural or controlled lighting to create images that feel both intimate and timeless. He believes a strong photograph should go beyond technical perfection and instead create a meaningful connection between the viewer and the subject. His journey with Nikon began in 2018 when he picked up his first camera, a Nikon D3400. That early experience sparked a lasting passion for photography and introduced him to the Nikon ecosystem, which he has continued to use and explore throughout his career. Over the years, he has worked with a wide range of Nikon cameras, from entry-level models to professional Nikon Z series bodies. Today his kit includes cameras such as the Nikon Z5, Z7II, Z6III, Z8, and Zf, paired with lenses including the NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.8, 105mm MC f/2.8, 20mm f/1.8, and 100–400mm. He particularly values the precision and versatility of the Nikon Z8 paired with the 100–400mm lens, which allows him to work confidently across diverse portrait and storytelling environments.
